Указ президента от 24 сентября 2015 года № 401 "О подписании Республикой Беларусь Конвенции о правах инвалидов" опубликован сегодня на Национальном правовом интернет-портале -http://www.pravo.by/main.aspx…

Конвенция о правах инвалидов принята Генеральной Ассамблеей Организации Объединенных Наций в Нью-Йорке 13 декабря 2006 года, вступила в силу 3 мая 2008 года.

Координатор Офиса по правам людей с инвалидностью Сергей Дроздовский прокомментировал для нашей Facebook-cтраницы это событие: "8 лет усилий и работы организаций по правам людей с инвалидностью, правозащитных организаций по разъяснению, лоббированию, внедрению положений Конвенции увенчались успехом! Это общая большая победа".

Ales Bialiatski was given 10 minutes to pay last tribute to his father in a morgue in Minsk this morning.

Ales Bialiatski managed to say a short prayer and immediately after that he was escorted back to Zhodzina prison.

Every authority possible has been involved to obtain permission for imprisoned Viasna leader Ales Bialiatski to attend the funeral of his father, who died on 24 December, says the human rights defender's wife Natallia, following her today's appeals submitted to the Prosecutor General's Office and the Interior Ministry.

The authorities are going to close down the Belarusian Helsinki Committee?

The Ministry of Taxes and Duties asks to initiate the process of winding up the RPRPA "Belarusian Helsinki Committee". The Ministry of Justice informed the BHC chairman Aleh Hulak that the taxmen appealed with such a statement to the ministry.
